Software reenginering of an old version of Teletrans in order to adapt it to current industry standards. The solution keeps its original purpose of data adquisition and configuration of Meteodata 2000/3000 stations. However, we have worked on its architecture in order to keep both functionalities separated, which in turn affects performance positively and makes maintenance easier. After reenginering, a Web Server based API has been set up. This API allows to keep both modules separated but mantaints communication between them. This approach guarantees changes pass unnoticed for the user while maintaining the application’s regular performance.
