Integral configuration of race.es corporate website. Our work in this project involves the setting of a high availability arquitecture in a high availability cluster, featuring session sharing between nodes and frontal load balancing. As of visual design, Liferay Portal has been set as the content management system for the site, and custom portlets have been developed in order to include functionality not already covered by the available alternatives. Some of the new portlets created include an office directory integrated with with the Google Maps API, a complete eCommerce suite and other interactive elements such as tab container, social sharing box and sliders. An integration with the club’s internal system has been carried out in order to publish additional information.
